This is North Carolina opportunity to apply the new 2013-2021 Optional Rules for the JO Women’s Program.  All presentations will be in a lecture, video format.  There will be no live gymnasts. 

Marian Dykes, Region 8 Tech Chair, has agreed to be our lead presenter, but many of North Carolina’s respected coaches and judges will also present. The facility is terrific and will lend itself to an open dialogue and questions/answers.

All Optional materials (Code of Points and Supplemental materials) must be ordered from USA Gymnastics before the NC Congress.

Host hotel will be the Hilton Garden Inn at SouthPoint, about 5 miles away.  A link will be provided with the name of the block reservations to take advantage of the $104.00 rate, available for Friday, August 2, and Saturday August 3^rd.

Sarah Myers of Kidsport Gymnastics will host a W200 course in Burlington on Sunday, August 4, 2013.  This will provide a requested hands-on experience for gyms’ coaches and instructor staff.  Registration for the W200 must be completed on the USA Gymnastics website.  Look under the Education tab.
