Q: Does it cost anything to sign up my gym on MeetMaker?
A: No, MeetMaker is completely free for clubs to sign up and register for sporting events.
 
Q: Who sees my gym information?
A: Only MeetMaker and the event directors for the events you register for can view your club information. We do not share your club details, including email addresses, with anyone else. Please refer to our privacy policy for more information.
 
Q: How many gymnasts and coaches can I sign up?
A: You can register an unlimited number of athletes and coaches for your club.
 
Q: Can I pay my meet registration through MeetMaker?
A: Yes, you can. MeetMaker accepts payments via ACH (using a checking account) or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).
 
Q: How do I register for a meet? I do not see anything that lets me do this on any of the web pages.
A: Click the name of an event on the home page or Events page and you will see a Register button for that event. It will ask you to sign in if you are not already signed in. You must have a MeetMaker account set up to register for an event.
 
Q: How do I turn off receipt of emails from MeetMaker?
A: Email notifications cannot be disabled. You are sent emails each time you update your club, athletes, or coaches’ information or when you register or update your registration for an event. These email notifications are for informational purposes and may become valuable if you have an issue with an event registration.
 
Q: How do I get help?
A: If your issue is about a meet or about a meet registration please contact the meet director. If you need help with the use if the MeetMaker.com web site please email us at support@meetmaker.com or use our Contact Us page.
 
Q: What is the best Internet browser to use for MeetMaker?
A: MeetMaker.com fully supports all modern browsers on all devices.
 
Q: Why aren't all my gymnasts listed on the meet registration page?
A: Only athletes who match the levels and gender for the selected event will appear. For example, an event for Level 4 and 5 female athletes will only show the level 4 and 5 female athletes on your roster will be listed. To ensure accuracy, regularly update your athletes’ levels on the My Roster page.
 
Q: Why am I not receiving roster updates and meet registration emails from MeetMaker?
A: The most common reason you do not see emails from MeetMaker in your Inbox is because your anti-virus or anti-spam software blocks it. Most modern anti-virus or anti-spam software allow you to set email addresses or email content that is allowed to pass through. Make sure your software allows emails from MeetMaker. We are also working on an issue with EarthLink that for some reason they block emails from MeetMaker. If you use EarthLink.net for your email address you currently will not be able to receive MeetMaker emails. Please instead use a different email address or one of the many free email accounts available on the Interent such as Yahoo. We apologize for this inconvenience but this is EarthLink's choice, not ours.
 
Q: How do I remove a gymnast (or coach) from a meet registration?
A: Scratching an athlete or coach is a simple process. Please note that all refunds are issued by the event host, according to their refund policies. 

If the event is regular or late registration: 

  1. Click MY HUB > MY EVENTS
  1. Find the correct event and click VIEW REGISTRATIONS
  1. In the list of registrations, click the VIEW button next to the confirmation you want to edit. 
  1. Click the down arrow next to the athlete or coach’s name and select SCRATCH
  1. When prompted, confirm by clicking YES
  1. Click SAVE UPDATES above the confirmation bar to finalize the scratch. 

 

If the event uses the USA Gymnastics Reservation System: 

Important: The scratch must be done both in USAGym.org first then in MeetMaker.com. If the "Cancel Reservation" button in USAGym.org is greyed out, contact the event director to open the cancel date on the USA Gymnastics sanction. 

  1. Log in to USAGym.org. 
  1. Go to the event and cancel the athlete/coach in the reservation. 
  1. Complete the reservation process. 
  1. In MeetMaker, go to ALERTS. 
  1. Process the updated reservation for that event. 
  1. You will receive a notification that the athlete or coach has been scratched.
